There are many institutions of higher education in Assam and in the Northeast that do not have adequate funds to purchase the latest text books or scholarly books in their academic discplines. This adversely impacts the learning abilities of young men and women in the region and sets them back even further compared to other regions of the country as well as the world. 

ASA Foundation's "Book Donations" project aims to address the above problem and improve students' ability learn. So, despite the high cost of mailing books to India, at present, we are currently actively engaged in sending books to the following institutions of higher education in Assam:

Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat
Tezpur Central University, Napaam, Tezpur
