| | The mission of the ASA Foundation is to promote and coordinate work that is geared toward improving the economic and social environment, especially that of the underprivileged population, in Assam and Northeast India. The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life of the people in the region by supporting investments in education, health and environment. To accomplish the mission, the ASA Foundation will work closely with individuals and organizations in the United States, in India, and in other countries which have similar goals and seek similar outcomes.
